A Shade house is a structure enclosed by Agro nets or any other woven material to allow required sunlight, moisture and air to pass through the gaps. It creates an appropriate micro climate conducive to plant growth. It is also referred to as shade net house or net house.

It is covered with plastic nets (Nets are made of 100% Polyethylene thread with specialized UV treatment) having different shade percentages. It provides a partially controlled atmosphere and environment by reducing light intensity and effective heat during day time to crops grown under it.
